About
Frankie B, a young singer, songwriter and musician from suburban Chicago, has been singing since before she began to walk. She picked up the guitar for the first time at the age of 8 and began playing piano at 11. After participating and winning every talent show in school, she started writing her own songs in 2013 at the age of 15. Frankie and her band play originals and a host of covers in English and Spanish that span an abundance of genres.
Her self titled EP, available on iTunes, was released in the summer of 2015. Shortly after the that, she was chosen to appear on PBS TV Show Song Stage, which aired repeatedly in 2016. Frankie B has been featured on WGN News, 3 local radio stations, a podcast, 2 local magazines and numerous newspaper articles.
Frankie B performs as a five piece band which include, Tom Klein bass), Jerry King (drums), Ryan Tedder (saxophone/keys) and James Bourland (guitar). Her band has performed at numerous notable Chicago venues including Cubby Bear, Talylor St. Italian Fest, Martyr's, House of Blues, Double Door, Pilsen Fest, Simone's, City Winery River Walk, Uncommon Ground, Bourbon Street, Troquet and The Mint in LA.
